Full job description

Job Title: Kitchen Designer

As a Kitchen Designer, you will transform spaces into stunning culinary havens that reflect the unique tastes and lifestyles of our trade customers. Your creativity and expertise will shine as you collaborate with customers to design functional and aesthetically pleasing kitchen layouts. You’ll play a pivotal role in guiding customers through the renovation process, ensuring their vision comes to life while maximizing efficiency and style.

What you’ll do

Collaborate with customers to understand their needs and preferences for kitchen design

Utilize design software such as Articad to create detailed layouts and renderings

Conduct product demonstrations to showcase features and benefits of kitchen and bedroom products

Manage negotiations with suppliers and contractors to ensure project success

Provide exceptional customer service throughout the design process, from initial consultation to project completion

Upsell additional products and services that enhance the overall kitchen/bedroom experience

Maintain an organized portfolio of designs, customer communications, and project updates

Stay current with industry trends in kitchen renovation, lighting design, and interior aesthetics

Working in a Trade Counter Environment

Basic qualifications

Strong communication skills to effectively engage with customers and team members

Proficiency in basic math for accurate measurements and calculations

Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment

Preferred qualifications

Experience in outside sales or inside sales within the KBB industry

Familiarity with construction processes related to kitchen remodelling
