Full job description

Due to continued growth, we are looking for a reliable and hardworking Roofers Mate on behalf of a maintenance roofing contractor in the Manchester area. This is a fantastic opportunity to develop your career within a supportive company with room for progression.

Role Overview:

As a Roofers Mate, you will assist skilled roofers with various roofing tasks, ensuring that work is completed safely and to the highest standard. You’ll be working on a variety of domestic and commercial properties within a 40-mile radius of Manchester. On rare occasions, you may be asked to work away, but all expenses will be covered. A van and fuel card will be provided for your use.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist roofers with day-to-day roofing tasks and maintenance work.

Help with setting up tools, equipment, and materials.

Carry out site preparation and clearing.

Ensure work is completed to a high standard and in line with health and safety regulations.

Be flexible and adaptable to a range of roofing and general construction tasks.

Maintain and keep track of tools and equipment.

Requirements:

Construction experience (ideally roofing experience, but not essential).

Driving Licence (Essential).

IPAF Licence (Essential).

Strong work ethic, reliability, and punctuality.

Ability to work as part of a team and take direction.

Willingness to learn and develop new skills.

CSCS CARD essential.
